Barn quilts have been part of the American West for generations -- painted on the sides of farmhouses and outbuildings as a way of marking a place, telling a story, and making something beautiful out of something practical. On June 25th, we're bringing that tradition to the table.
The Long Table is The Stranger Lodge's monthly gathering series, and this is where it begins. You'll spend the evening painting your own 2x2 exterior-grade board to take home and hang wherever feels right. All supplies and materials are included, and no experience is necessary. We'll walk you through the whole process start to finish, from choosing your pattern to pulling the tape on your final coat.
Thursday, June 25 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at The Stranger Lodge, 511 W Cascade Ave, Sisters, OR 97759. Limited to 14 guests.
